About Me

Total Image is a home based Beauty Therapy Clinic situated in Balclutha, which offers a variety of beauty therapy treatments designed to help you look and feel your best. Total Image is owned and operated by Kay Merrett, an internationally qualified beauty therapist with extensive experience in the industry for over 29 years.

Kay has a passion for beauty and the skin, combined with her love of caring for people, she will have you feeling relaxed, nurtured and refreshed, in an atmosphere that is private, warm and friendly.

Hi, I’m Kay, founder, director, senior beauty therapist at Total Image.

I graduated from the National School of Aesthetics in 1991, gaining NaSA diploma’s in Beauty Therapy and Applied Aesthetics, Physiatrics and Electrolysis. International ITEC (UK) Diplomas in Aestheticienne, Electrology and Physiatrics and a CIBTAC (UK) Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology.

As a proud member of the Balclutha Community I was thrilled to be a judge in the 2015 South Otago Show Queen Competition.

I continually upgrade my skills and knowledge to ensure I can pass onto you the latest in the industry.

At Total Image, I choose to use products that are naturally derived, contain organic ingredients, are environmentally friendly and ethically produced (not tested on animals).

I also have a great range of natural beauty products, skincare, makeup, a selection of candles and nail products for you to choose from.
